“Thank you for running such a kind and gentle school.  It is the perfect environment for curious and impressionable little minds.” - Dr. & Mr. Archer

Toilet-Learning

Toilet-learning is a big milestone on the road to independence.  When your child is ready to transition from pull-ups or diapers, our teachers will work closely with you and your child to support toileting success.  Our objective is to transition from high frequency adult prompting to child-initiated toileting.  Successful toilet-learning is achieved when the child recognizes the need to toilet and is able to use the washroom independently most of the time.  Accidents may still happen from time to time, but with declining frequency.   We will celebrate successes along the way and work through any setbacks together.  Five consecutive days of attendance accident-free in underwear at school with only the regular class group prompts is our measure of success.
